Back in 2018, the owner had the smoothie idea when she just got back to Makassar after living in Australia for years. She committed to having a healthy lifestyle like how she did back in Australia.

She started to make smoothies every day and posted it on Instagram. Surprisingly, the smoothies' posts got positive responses from people and said that she should start selling them. Relied purely on our owner Instagram followers and some friends, she started selling the smoothies with pre-order (PO) method and launched 'SMOOTHIE THEORY'. People who want to buy will join the PO and smoothies are delivered every Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

The PO turned out really well, and Smoothie Theory started to be known by more people in Makassar. Especially since we joined many pop-up bazaars almost every month.

Smoothie Theory opened its first not-so-temporary store at Trans Studio Mall on August 2019, a month after its first birthday.
